Sometimes the best choice when something is broken and missing from life is to fix it and get it back where it belongs. Of course this is easier said than done, and may take a lot of soul searching, prayer and help from those who know us best. While it may have felt damn good for a while to fill in the missing gap with other things...in the end, what was originally in the vacated space is probably what belongs there in the end. If anyone looks close enough they will see the residual glue seeping out of the crack, like quiet tears from my eyes. It will be a sign that it is still imperfect; in a state of healing and repair. While it appears to be whole once again, with the olive happily in balance with the others, the pain remains. While it may appear to be fixed and visually right to outsiders, only those closest know it is just for show while the struggle within the unwanted remains.
